vom Blauen Gras Deutsch Kurzhaars

We purchased our first DK from Butch Grover and Beaver Creek Kennel in 2005.  At that time, we had no idea what we were in for.  It wasn't long before one Deutsch Kurzhaar became three and we were fully immersed in testing and hunting these wonderful dogs.

Travis has been a member of NAVHDA for about 10 years.  He is currently in the Apprentice Judge Program with NAVHDA.  Travis was also recently appointed as an Apprentice Verbandsrichter with the JGHV through the NADKC and DKV.

While testing is important to us, hunting with our dogs is our number one priority.  In addition to the hunting we do in our home state of Kentucky, we also take at least one out of state trip each year to hunt wild game.  So far, we have hunted North Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee in addition to our home state.
